Kris Kristofferson wanted to get a song he had written to Johnny Cash and see if Johnny would be interested in recording it. Since his previous attempts did not materialize he took an extremely unusual step in trying to bring his goal to fruition. After doing that FATE did intervene and Johnny recorded the song. This leads one to wonder that if against all odds certain things do happen to us because Fate intervened that perhaps it was destined to happen all along.
