The Euphonium What Is It?

The manner in which media production is carried out has changed since the introduction of royalty free music. For those who don't understand the term, it refers to a form of music that is licensed for a fee that is paid only once. This means that once the initial payment is made and used, one does not have to pay more royalties when they want to use it again for either airplay or production. Another form that is interchangeably used with this is stock music. There are other synonyms used and for this reason, it is advisable to be conversant with the same.

How to Convert a Right Handed Guitar to a Left Handed Guitar

It's hard to get started writing here about something that definitely puts a date next to your name, a time stamp of the early sixties and I was ten (okay there I said it!). I think some of the first music to hit the airwaves to my ears and actually stick was a song called He'll Have To Go by Jim Reeves, (late fifties) it was a favorite of my grandfather's long before I was singing my CD's.

Voice Recorders 10 Tips to Choosing One That Is Right for You

If you have ambitions to become the next Gary Moore or Eric Clapton then you need two things. Firstly, you'll need a guitar. Secondly, you'll need someone to show you how to play it. The first bit is relatively easy - there are plenty of guitars available to buy either new or second hand either online or in the high street. The second point might be a little harder though, and unless you happen to know someone who's very accomplished at playing the guitar, and who has plenty of time to help teach you the right techniques, then you have three choices.

How to Become a Songwriter Break Those Bad Habits

Most Bob Dylan albums include songs that were heavily laden with influence from his exposure to blues, folk and country music. I have been an ardent Dylan follower for over 30 years since I was introduced to his songs by my music teacher back in grade school. I was instantly hooked to his songs, and found myself spending my evenings listening to his recordings; enraptured by his original, strange and compelling music. If you are a big Dylan fan like me, then you probably are a big fan of these albums, which give a glimpse of his greatness.

Garbage In Art Out

Have you ever watched a show that involves dolphins jumping out of the water? If you haven't watched how they perform stunt, then you better get out of the house and watch them perform. It can be a lot of fun and entertaining for you and your family. Kids would sure to love seeing how they jump through frames just like the way how it make you feel good. It amazes you how they can follow their trainers with ease. Even if they are trained, not all aquatic animals can do such amazing stunts. They really are intelligent and friendly, as well.

Ultimate Checklist In Choosing The Best Rap Beat Maker To Make Awesome Rap Beats

Perhaps it's an age-old truth that the older generation doesn't understand the music of the youth. I don't know whether the kids of Mozart's age caught the same kind of flak from their parents for listening to his music, but there's no doubt that rockabilly and early rock and roll music stirred up a hornet's nest of parental disapproval among the parents of the 1950s! And rockabilly artists were particularly despised because of their rebel attitude and appearance.

The Best Joe Walsh Album

Music is critical to any good party. Having a live band at your party can give it a whole new atmosphere. If you decide to hire a band there is a process you should go through. It takes time to select the right band for any function and you should do some groundwork before rushing out and hiring your little brother's garage band to play your Christmas party.

Creating Music Is For Everyone

I've often said that there's something about rockabilly music. Something that just makes you feel good. It makes you want to move when you hear it. It picks you up and makes you smile. But as often as I've said that, I'm not sure I've ever been able to successfully describe what that "something" is. What is it that makes rockabilly so wonderful? It's an indefinable essence that seeps into your soul and lifts your spirits.

Because she has teamed up with the online video game Farmville, Gaga fans have to log onto the new Gagaville video game site to hear this new track. For those of you who do not want to have to visit Gagaville in Farmville, you can listen to the new track Marry The Night below.

Not really a fan of slower, pop ballads … not even Britney Spears ballads so … eh, I’m not wowed. But it does sound like a nice song, poignant and pretty. What do y’all think of Lady Gaga‘s latest offering? Is this one of the best songs you’ve heard from the Born This Way album thus far?

dexter stars getting divorce and have been separated since august

Time to say goodbye to these two!

Jennifer Carpenter has just filed her divorce petition, and apparently she's been separated from Dexter Morgan Michael C. Hall for quite a while now.

According to the divorce petition, their separation date was Aug 9, 2010.

As for the reason for divorce, Carpenter cited "irreconcilable differences."

She's asking Dex Michael to pay for spousal support, as well as attorney's fees.

We're still sad to see these two split, but we're glad that it probs has nothing to do with an affair. We were upset to hear about all that Julia Stiles dramz!

The paparazzi are out in full force in Cabo San Lucas this week, seeing as the place is jammed with celebrities. Surprisingly though, we've only really been seeing shots of LeAnn Rimes and her fiancee Eddie Cibrain.

Huh! How peculiar!

At any rate, the pair seem to be enjoying their getaway. Notice the big smiles as they walk along the beach, hand-in-hand, soaking in all the attention rays.

Top Tips For Singing Your Best

Of all the heroes you can point to in the rockabilly world, one of the greatest of all was not a hero because of what he did with his own music, but because of what he did for the music of others. Sam Phillips who owned a small Memphis recording studio called Memphis Recording Service and started the Sun Records label was every bit as responsible for the rise of rockabilly and the very formation of rock and roll as his biggest start, Elvis Presley.

Movie Review: ‘Scream 4′

At last … after many years of hoping, praying, talking … then planning and waiting … Scream 4 finally opened in theaters here in the US yesterday. It seems like a lifetime ago that we first heard that the Scream film franchise was being rebooted with a new sequel and an ice age since the [...]

Yesterday was a really fun day for David and me. After an early showing of Scream 4 (review forthcoming), we made our way to the Gibson Amphitheater to see Janet Jackson LIVE in concert on the second night of her LA stop of her Number Ones Greatest Hits Tour. David had seen Janet twice before in concert … last night was my first … and it was AMAZINGLY fun!

Our show was no nonsense, no frills … just HIT song after HIT song for about 2 hours. The show was pretty much one big medley. In order for Janet to perform all of her hit songs — and I mean ALL of them — she had to perform them in medley format. The show started with a medley of upbeat dance songs, then cooled down with a medley of ballads before going back into more killer dance tracks. Even Janet‘s onstage dress was bare bones … jeans, a tank top and combat boots … that’s all. To be honest, I was a bit bummed that the show wasn’t a big production. I’ve seen photos from her Rhythm Nation and Velvet Rope tours and she really knows how to put on a show. This tour, tho, is all about the songs … her massive collection of hits. She did not disappoint. I was in HEAVEN singing and dancing along to all of her songs. I actually remembered and busted out the dance breakdown parts to both Miss You Much and If right there in the aisles. I had no shame, it was a blast! The show was so fun … it was an honor to see Janet live in concert :)

Multitrack Recording Software for Rap and Hip Hop Production

With all of the joy that has sprung from rockabilly music, it's sometimes difficult to fathom the tragedy that seems to have plagued the early pioneers. Many of the greatest rockabilly artists had their careers--and in many cases their lives--cut short by accidental injury and death. Many others succumbed to the tragedy of substance abuse and other problems that came between them and the happiness they sought. Here is a list of several rockabilly artists who we lost much earlier than we should have.
