New JHud! Check Out Angel!
Excellent!
We're really feeling this!
Check out the just-released second single from Jennifer Hudson's upcoming album, I Remember Me, called Angel (above)!
Has kind of an Alicia Keys vibe, don't you think?
A DEFINITE improvement over Where You At, we'd say! That one felt a little safe to us!

Oh man. We cannot even BEGIN to tell you how excited we are for this.
Check out the cover art for Tori Amos' upcoming 12th studio album, Night Of Hunters (above), which is set to be released in September of this year!
She looks STUNNING, no?
And an alleged tracklist has also surfaced, which includes the following:
1. "Shattering Sea"
2. "SnowBlind"
3. "Battle of Trees"
4. "Fearlessness"
5. "Cactus Practice"
6. "Star Whisperer"
7. "Job's Coffin"
8. "Nautical Twilight"
9. "Your Ghost"
10. "Edge of the Moon"
11. "The Chase"
12. "Night of Hunters"
13. "Seven Sisters"
14. "Carry"
Wow - it definitely sounds, at least from the titles, that she's got a VERY specific theme and aesthetic running throughout this entire project!
This is going to be epic. We just KNOW it!
Can't wait to hear it, gurl!
What do U think?? Are U looking forward to new Tori??

Madonna Opens A ‘Hard Candy Fitness’ Center In Mexico City
While the Apple iPad is the #1 tech gift on every gadget geek’s Xmas list this year it’s already time to start thinking about the iPad 2. According to a new report from a very reputable Taiwanese newspaper (the same newspaper that correctly reported that the iPad would be a touchscreen tablet before anyone else), Apple is planning to release the second generation iPad in the first quarter of 2011. According to the paper, the iPad 2 will feature two cameras (one front-facing, one in the back) with the ability for FaceTime video chat, an updated higher resolution touchscreen and … a USB port! At this point, we prolly should take all of this info with a huge grain of salt … but the newspaper making these claims have been right before, they very well may be right again:
Rumors continue to swirl over Apple’s next generation iPad, and one reliable Taiwanese newspaper says the new device will be out in the first quarter of 2011, complete with video calling, two cameras, new display and touch technology, and a USB port to connect easily to other devices. The Chinese-language Economic Daily News financial newspaper, which was among the first to correctly report that Apple was making a tablet when other news sources said it would be a netbook, on Friday reported that the new iPad 2 will go into production this month and will be on sale early next year. The same newspaper in August reported that the device would have a 7-inch touchscreen. Taiwanese newspapers sometimes win scoops on new electronics products because Taiwanese companies are involved in every aspect of electronics production, from components to final assembly. For example, the Economic Daily says that Largan Precision will supply camera lenses for the new iPad, while Hon Hai Precision Industry, which operates under the trade name, Foxconn, will be responsible for final assembly. The August report from the Economic Daily said Chimei Innolux will supply 7-inch LCD touchscreens, which use the same IPS (in-plane switching) technology found in the original iPad, for the new device. The companies named in the Economic Daily report declined to comment. Contract manufacturers and component makers normally do not reveal what products they’re working on because failure to maintain secrecy can cause them to lose business.
Now THIS sounds like an iPad that I would like to own. I tried out the iPad when it came out earlier this year and after a few days testing it out, I determined that it really wasn’t the mobile computing device for me. I would be very interested in having an iPad with camera functionality, yes, but what really gets me is the reported USB port. I would LOVE to carry my important docs on a Flash Drive and be able to access them on a “computer” as small as the iPad. I’m not really getting too excited just yet because none of this news has been confirmed … but if the iPad 2 does get a USB port, chances are that I will be shelling out for an iPad 2. What do y’all think? If you’re hoping for an iPad this Xmas … would you rather hold out and wait for the rumored iPad 2 due out early next year?

First Look: Colin Farrell In The Remake Of ‘Fright Night’
Last night David and I made our way to downtown LA to hang out with Ollie and Caleb on their first night back in LA after their week-long trip to London. The four of us were supposed to hang out with Tam and Rob a couple of weeks ago but because of their trip, we weren’t able to hang. We remedied that situation last night over pints of Guinness at Casey’s Pub.
It is absolutely impossible to have a bad time when hanging out with Ollie and Caleb. Over fish and chips and lots of Guinness, we were able to catch up and share stories from our recent adventures abroad. Of course, we had to take some fun photos before saying goodbye but I’m planning on seeing them again this weekend for a brunch hang-out session with our dear friend Irene.
Not sure what the plan is for today. We may be hanging out with a special little darling girl who is celebrating her 6 month birthday today … so, I’m looking forward to that. Have a great Thursday, y’all!!

Watch: A Clip Of Taylor Lautner Kickin’ Ass In ‘Abduction’ Hits The Internets
After missing the show on Broadway, David and I were very excited to learn that the Tony Award-winning play God of Carnage was being performed here in LA with the original Broadway cast — Marcia Gay Harden, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Jeff Daniels. We waited for a performance where we could get really good tickets so that is why we waited until the show nearly ends its run to see it. The show ends performances here in LA this weekend … but we managed to get really good seats for our show. In short, we both loved God of Carnage very much … and we were very surprised at how the drama unfolded on stage ;)
I think it’s best that I not spoil the parts of the show that surprised us the most … but I will tell you that the play is very funny and not at all really dramatic. The acting was superb by all of the players and the story is simple on the surface but fairly complex underneath. I knew the basic premise of the play before seeing the show last night but I was NOT at all expecting it to turn out the way it did. There were parts of the show that were so riotously funny, I almost fell out of my chair. There was another part that almost had me running for cover (we were in the front row). God of Carnage is a fantastic play … one I heartily recommend wholeheartedly. If you get the chance to see it with the original Broadway cast, you MUST! I’m sorry I missed seeing it on Broadway but am very happy that I got to experience the same Broadway magic, with the same players, right here at home in LA.

Movie Review: ‘Water For Elephants’
Yesterday was pretty much a travel day for David and me so it wasn’t really all that exciting. After a quick Easter Egg hunt in the front yard of David’s parent’s home, we had to get our butts to the airport for our flight back to LA. Because we did have one stop on our journey, we couldn’t get home as quickly as we would’ve liked … but our layover in Cincinnati, OH did afford us a very nice Easter brunch surprise.
We found an Outback Steakhouse in the airport in Cincinnati and I was able to stuff my fave partake of a delicious plate of Aussie Cheese Fries (pronounced Aussie Chayze Froys) midway thru our journey home. Trust me … it helped make the day go by so much faster :)
We did get home early enough in the day here in LA so that we could go out for a bit … we ended up seeing a movie at the ArcLight (review forthcoming). As much fun as we had in NYC and CT all week long, nothing beats being home, sweet, home here in SoCal :)

It Might Not Be Curtains For Chord Overstreet On Glee Just Yet!
We all need to just take a deep breath and read the fine print!
Here's the sitch:
Over the weekend, the news spread that Chord Overstreet won't be back on Glee this coming season. People were outraged! There was looting in the street, babies crying and death threats to the powers that be over at McKinley High.
Okay, [...]
It appears Michael Jackson left more secrets than we thought!
Of his many hidden treasures lies a secret art collection that is now in the middle of an 'international tug-of-war.'
The fortune, which consists of 182 rarities including a myriad goodies from MJ originals to a rocking chair JFK used to sit in, is appraised at an unbelievable $902.52 million!
While this could have ensured his children's lives of luxury, it has unfortunately been bought out in a 'bargain basement' deal for a measly $87 mil in comparison.
Jackson's estate lawyers are moving swiftly to block the purchase that an undisclosed international business man already put $37 mil down for.
Wow! That's cray-cray! It begs a good question, though. Why didn't Michael already have this in his will for the children?
More secrets to be found out!? We'll see!!

Watch: Jake Gyllenhaal Guest Stars On The Season Premiere Of ‘Man Vs. Wild’
Last night David and I met up with our friends Ollie, Woody and Darion for a fun concert night at the Staples Center to see Rihanna on her Loud Tour. Darion and I saw Rihanna on tour last year so we were very excited to see her perform again this year. I managed to stay away from photos and videos of this tour so as not to spoil the show and was very happy to see that Rihanna‘s live show changed pretty dramatically from last year to this year. Click below to see some photos of Ri Ri‘s live performance last night.
While Rihanna put on a fantastic show, the consensus among the group was that her performance was not as high energy as it could’ve been. To be clear, Rihanna sings live thruout this entire show and she busts a move here and there … but the tone of the concert was kinda mid-tempo thruout. Her usual club bangers weren’t really loud at all, to be honest. That said, I personally really enjoyed myself and had a great time last night. I can’t say that Rihanna‘s Loud Tour is a high energy, blow your mind kind of show … but Rihanna does sing her greatest hits with all her heart and that alone is worth the price of admission.
Here is a photo of me with Darion and Woody:
David and Ollie were seated on the other side of the Staples Center. I know they had fun … but not as much fun as we did ;)
This afternoon, I may be heading out to an early showing of Transformers: Dark of the Moon and tonight David and I are meeting up with Adriana at the LACMA to see the new Tim Burton Exhibit. Later tonight, I’m hoping to make it out to one of Ollie’s DJ parties so … today should be a fun-filled day. Happy Hump Day!
